Kevin Costner is this year’s Grand Marshal, and will ride along with legendary rockers, The Go-Gos and The Doobie Brothers! Kevin Costner and his band, Modern West, The Go-Gos, the Doobie Brothers and Cowboy Mouth will perform at the Extravaganza in the Superdome immediately following the parade.
When it comes to big names in Hollywood they don't come any bigger than Kevin Costner. From his breakthrough roles in Silverado, The Untouchables, No Way Out and Bull Durham to the Academy Award winning Dances With Wolves, to the box office smash successes of Field Of  Dreams, The Bodyguard, JFK, Robin Hood, Tin Cup, The Guardian, Open Range, and recently Mr. Brooks, Kevin Costner has left an indelible mark on movie history. Now, as the leader of Kevin Costner & Modern West, Costner has stepped from the big screen to the concert stage with a remarkable band!

Comprised of a tight knit group of long time friends, Kevin Costner & Modern West draw their influences from a broad tapestry of American music and beyond. The show flows from original material penned by the band, to songs written by some of Kevin's famous musical friends. One element that sets Kevin Costner apart from other actor/musicians is his personal accessibility and desire for the band to be part of the party. Costner prefers their performances be in non-seated settings where the audience can literally be "within reach" of the band.

The Doobie Brothers is a Grammy winning band known for incorporating sophisticated jazz stylings into “popular hit” songs. They began in 1970, and have a reputation for exciting live performances and skillful musicianship. Essential Doobie Brothers hits include Long Train Runnin,Black Water,Takin’ It to the Streets,Jesus is Just Alright with Me,Take Me In Your Arms (Rock Me), Another Park, Another Sunday andChina Grove.

The Go-Go's debuted in 1978 and pioneered a genre. From their halcyon days as America's sweethearts, the band continues to preside over an amazing three-decade reign as high pop priestesses, playing essentials hits such asWe Got the Beat, Our Lips Are Sealed, Head Over Heels, Mad About You, Vacation and Turn To You. Today, with the original hit making lineup intact, The Go-Go’s live shows continue to deliver every bit of the raw energy of their now-legendary punk beginnings, tempered with the wisdom of three decades of pop perfection.

The Endymion Extravaganza also features The Chee Weez, Cowboy Mouth and The Wise Guys.
